2. Air pollution

The composition of the air changes continuously depending on the time of day, the weather, the season, and the elevation. Any particle that modifies the natural characteristics of the air is called a pollutant. Air pollution affects humans, animals, and the environment. Cars, homes, factories, farms, and other human or natural sources can all release pollutants into the air and worsen the air quality.
